Introducing Claim & Support
Claim and Support refer to filling for indemnification from an insurer for any incident explicitly covered by the insurance company or provider. The Claim and Support process starts when a policyholder submits a formal insurance claim to the insurance company or gives a written request to the same for compensation for an insured loss.
Next, the policyholder is required to provide the proof of the incident to the insurer through repair/damage evaluations and/or medical records. The insurance company verifies the submitted proofs for claim settlement, which, after being approved, results in compensating the insured or an approved person.
Insurers can provide support services that cover loss control services to allow policyholders to reduce risks and evade future incidents. Policyholders may seek legal help for full and fair compensation.
